My product looks different than a previous order or from what is pictured on the website. Did I receive the right product?
We take pride in crafting our lip balms in small batches from the finest natural ingredients. Due to the natural composition of our products and our commitment to purity, you may notice slight variations in appearance from one batch to another. These changes can occur due to differences in seasonal ingredients, sourcing locations, or the natural aging process of botanical extracts.
Please be assured that these variations do not affect the quality or efficacy of THE balm. Each batch undergoes rigorous testing to ensure consistency in performance or safety standards.
While we strive to provide accurate product images and descriptions, the actual color, texture, and scent of the THE balm may differ slightly from what is pictured on our website or packaging. Additionally, you may notice variations from batch to batch. This is a consequence of working with natural and organic ingredients.

Does THE balm contain any ingredients designed to give a shimmer or sparkle?
THE balm does not contain any ingredients specifically designed to provide a shimmer or sparkle. For example, THE balm does not contain mica, titanium dioxide, or pigment.
Generally, you will notice a slight gloss or shine when applying THE balm to lips. That said, this is not a high-shine lip gloss, nor is it a matte lip gloss.
Certain ingredients within THE balm may give lips an appearance of a slight shine or shimmer. Our proprietary blend of Hyaluronic Acid may give this illusion which can vary from batch to batch.
Is THE balm temperature sensitive?
Yes, THE balm is a temperature sensitive product. Due to the natural ingredients contained in THE balm, you may notice changes in consistency based on outside temperature. Please note that the efficacy, integrity, and quality of the product is not affected by temperature.
THE balm is best stored at room temperature. Do not leave products in hot environments—like a car or direct sunlight—as they will melt in extreme heat.
In cold environments, allow THE balm to warm to room temperature for at least 30 minutes.
In hotter environments, allow products to cool to room temperature for at least 24 hours. You may refrigerate the product for quicker results.
Product may melt when exposed to extreme heat in transit. The integrity of the product has not been compromised. Should this happen, do not open until your container until the product reaches room temperature. If you have opened it, gently stir, and put lid back on. For quicker cooling, place product in a refrigerator.
What does THE balm smell like?
THE balm does not contain any natural or artificial fragrances. THE balm has a very light botanical scent caused by the natural ingredients and essential oils in the product. Due to the nature of using these ingredients, product scent may somewhat vary from one batch to the next.
I previously received a sample of THE balm. Is the full size of THE balm the same size?
The product in the full size containers and the sample size containers of THE balm are exactly the same. Both are 10 mL in volume.
Please note that the product may look different depending on the color of the container (i.e. product in a black container may appear darker than product in a clear container).
